What does TALOKAN mean?


Talokan is a Nahuatl word that means "the essence of the earth or the origin of all things." We chose this word to name our association because our projects have the objective of offering an experience from our roots in indigenous communities.


What is the minimum time to carry out an experience?


The complete program is a minimum of one month. But we also have ethno-tourism outings for a week or a weekend.


How long in advance can I apply?


The calls are open on specific dates. Follow our social networks to stay updated, you can find us on Facebook as Talokan México A.C. and on Instagram as @talokanmexico. Stay tuned!


Does the transportation from the CDMX airport include the Talokan experience?


That's how it is! We wait for you from the moment you land in Mexico City and we are with you at all times, safety and accompaniment to this wonderful experience are our priority.


Will I share a room?


Yes! In the interview, we will tell you all the details. The lodging is located in cabins that have shared rooms. Similarly, if yours is better to be alone, you may request your own room, at an extra cost.


Is there a refund of my payment if I cancel my experience?


Once your experience is paid, you can cancel only one month in advance. The refund is 60% of the payment made. You can also change the date of your experience at no extra cost. In case of canceling 29 days in advance or less, no refunds apply.
