An online opportunity to get to know a part of our country through its roots, traditions, customs, and to get involved in what happens in our environment with themes and ideas that will lead you to dialogue with the ideals of Talokan, and in addition to helping you delve into local and global social, political and cultural issues.
OBJECTIVE
Through the Educational Program of Talokan, we want to invite you to investigate the reality of Mexico, the Mexican indigenous communities, and the universe of our countries, but also that you allow yourself, through what you have learned in this course, to explore and investigate the reality in the one you inhabit, as well as exploring your internal forum as an individual and as a society. We want to be inspired, allow you to observe, and that from where you are you can make a call to action and then develop a project with Talokan.
PURPOSE
The purpose of this educational program is that each of the participants has the opportunity to develop a socio-cultural-educational project or of various kinds, to be implemented in the different communities with which TALOKAN A.C works.
How does it work?
The program is divided into three modules, and we will analyze topics such as culture, education, migration, economy, identity, gender perspective, life projects, social entrepreneurship, among others. You will get involved in workshops on interculturality, embroidery, gastronomy, talks with educators, associations, cooperatives, among others. An opportunity to meet, discuss, share, and above all raise awareness of where we are going.
SCHOLARCHIP
In the last discussion, the best entrepreneurship project will be chosen, this project will be the recipient of a scholarship. Covering accommodation, meals, and workshops for 4 weeks, to turn the project into something real and tangible.
